Playing At The Pond FREE Lunch Time Series
The latest in Coota Library's series of free lunchtime concerts - "Playing at the Pond" - features the incomparable Cootamundra Concert Band. This wonderful group of homegrown talent plays a wide variety of music, from the “Oom-Pah-Pah” from “Oliver” to folk songs, marches, solos and duets, calming chorales, and lively Latin American beats!
Bring your sandwiches, bring a friend, and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere on the lawns by the fishpond outside the library for this FREE concert. We will pass the hat around at the conclusion and all proceeds raised will go to the Cootamundra Community Soup Kitchen.
And if you would like to join the band, they meet on Tuesday evenings during the school term, with instruments for hire at a very reasonable rate. You’re never too old to learn...!
For further information, phone the library on 6940 2200.
